The African Journal of Veterinary Sciences (AJVS) is a peer-reviewed open access publication of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Jos, Nigeria, Nigeria. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, case reports, and short communications that advance knowledge in veterinary medicine, animal health, livestock production, and related biomedical sciences.

AJVS aims to promote scientific collaboration and innovation across Africa by providing a credible platform for veterinary researchers, practitioners, and policy stakeholders.
